Student Connect

There are over 3,400 identified students in the San Juan School District who currently are without permanent housing; many are or are at risk of becoming homeless. Their ages rage from Kindergarten to 12th grade. Student Connect, is a one-day, one-stop event to provide services and support for students and families who are experiencing or at risk of experiencing homelessness.

Students and their families can come have fun and receive services such as mental and physical healthcare, financial assistance, housing assistance, school enrollment, clothing and hygiene items and so much more. With most of these services located in the greater Sacramento area, it is sometimes challenging for these children and their families to have easy access to them. Student Connect changes that with one day. 

 
 
 

When & Where is Student Connect?

Student Connect will take place on Saturday, September 29th, 2018 at Advent Lutheran Church in Citrus Heights, from 10 AM to 3 PM.
